Healing Arts/Psychic Background In 2000 Alicia received her Bachelors at UMass at Amherst with a double major in English and Psychology with a special interest in French Literature; she also studied 4 semesters of Iyengar Yoga and ballroom dance. In her 7 years living in the Pioneer “Happy” Valley (during college and after), Alicia was able to expand her interest in the healing arts and spiritual practices. She learned many modalities through her healer/mentor/traeger body worker. This woman recognized the healer/artist in Alicia and opened her world to include daily and practical uses of Feng Shui, pendulum work, Native American spiritual ceremonies, prayer, mantras, chanting, meditation and sound therapy, practical strategies for daily living and achieving long term goals, and more. Alicia picked up and experienced many healing techniques, chiropractic, hands on and hands off healing, sound therapy, Tomatis Work, Alexander Technique, herbs, aromatherapy, and transcendental meditation. Diagnosed with ADD, anxiety and mild dysphoria at a young age, she felt that using these techniques, as well as practicing healthy living habits, helped her attention and quality of life better than prescription drugs. She felt this was something she felt she could share with others. Alicia discovered Resonance Repatterning (formerly Holographic Repatterning) to be a perfect fit for herself in 1999. This healing process synthesizes many of the healing backgrounds she had been learning, including Chinese, Indian and American methods while integrating it with New Physics and Psychology. Alicia Sinicrope began her studies of Holographic Repatterning at the age of 22, and became the youngest certified practitioner within a record graduation of only 18 months. During this time Alicia gave 120 repatternings to others and did daily Repatternings on herself. She furthered her training and studies through Reiki 1 certification, learning more about the Enneagram, astrology, herbs, aromatherapy, meditation, card readings and gaining insight through personal and professional healing experiences. Alicia feels she has inherited many of her interests in the holistic and metaphysical fields from her grandmother. Diana Alicia Rios had owned a cutting edge Alternative Health Food Store in Texas, and was a highly spiritual and progressive woman who was the first ordained minister in the state of Texas and also received a Bachelors in Psychology in her 50’s. At 17 she was a panelist and intern for Enneagram workshops. Alicia began reading Astrology books at the age of 8, and her interest in reading and learning on the subject it is still a daily pursuance and curiosity. Alicia has had training and 2 internships in the Enneagram when she was still in High School. In addition, Alicia is a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, Level 2 Crystal Healing Therapist, and has received certificate of introductory completion for the Yuen Energetics Technique. This summer 2010 Alicia is looking forward to taking a Matrix Energetics course and to her annual visit of Ammachi, who travels all over the world giving “darshan” and spiritual guidance.
